For me the light bulb moment was when you spoke about when I don't contact them they feel I have no interest in them.  That my calling them makes them feel VALUED. DUH- here I am afraid I am bothering them.  Of course people like knowing someone appreciated them.

I would have never believed that lowering my enthusiasm would increase my bookings! I have tried this technique over the last few calls and it seems to be working to my advantage. The take home message I got from this seminar is that we have to work our business OR someone else will. I think the biggest thing I learned was to be myself and stop doing the voice, you know the 'salesperson voice' as my husband calls it.  It was easier for me to be less afraid to make calls if I was playing the part of a salesperson on the phone, but let me tell you, it's exhausting!  I'm much more relaxed now and not so overly enthusiastic.  Thank you Tammy!

I have always thought I need to be MORE enthusiastic. Being enthusiastic is NOT my strong point and I always feel phony when I try. As I was getting off the training call, my cell phone rang.  It was a customer who had a product that did not work.  It was perfect timing.  I knew what she wanted and I fulfilled her need. At the end of the call, I thanked her for her business and I wished her a Happy New Year.  She was happy!

The biggest thing I gained from the teleseminar is that sales resistance is normal.  In order to stop the back and forth tennis match, I need to step over to my customer's side of the court.  I need to really listen to each customer and see if I have what my customer wants.
